Math and Science for Everyday Life

Whether it’s telling time, monitoring the weather, maintaining good health, or protecting the environment, math and science are everywhere.   In order for our students to function and understand aspects of their everyday life, it is necessary that they have proficiency in numeracy as well as have a basic understanding of science.  This workshop will provide effective teaching strategies as well as innovative activities to incorporate math and science into the ESL and ABE classroom.
